• 1 egg white, lightly beaten
  • 1 T. water
  • 3 c. raw pecan halves
  • ½ c. white sugar
  • ½ t. salt
  • 1 t. ground cinnamon
  • ½ t. ground cloves
  • ½ t. ground nutmeg


  1. Prep Time: 10 min.
  2. Cook Time: 30 min.
  3. Servings: 6
  4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  5. In a small bowl beat the egg white with the water. Stir in the pecans, mixing until well moistened.
  6. In another small bowl, mix together sugar, salt, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Sprinkle over the moistened nuts.  Spread nuts on prepared pan.
  7. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, stirring once or twice. Be careful not to overcook and burn the nuts.
