Ingredients:
- 3 c. Rolled Oats
- 1 c. Almonds, whole chopped or slivered
- 1 c. Cashews, chopped or whole
- 1 c. Shredded sweet coconut
- 1 tsp. Kosher Salt
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 1 stick of Butter
- 1/3 c. Brown Sugar
- 1/2 c. Raisins
- 3 tbsp. flax seeds
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
Directions:
- Prep time: 10 min
- Cook Time: 25 min
- Serves: 6 Servings
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In a large bowl, toss together oats, nuts, coconuty, flax seed, salt and cinnamon.
- Melt butter in saucepan with agave nectar/honey and brown sugar. Until sugar is dissolved. Add the vanilla.
- Pour the sugar mixture on top of the dry ingredients. Tossing to coat well.
- Spread onto a parchment covered baking sheet- leaving a few clumps for texture.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 350 degrees.
- Toss around on the pan and then add to the oven for another 15 minutes.
- Allow to cool.
- Once cooled, toss in the raisins. Add Apricots, Dates, Banana Chips...and sneak in some chocolate chips too!
